From Monday 23.08 to Wednesday 25.08 in Saint-Laurent-sous-Coiron, behind closed doors.
This annual August meeting had in 2020 an even finer and more convivial edition than ever in spite of the health crisis. It will, we are sure, be in harmony with the ambitions of the 2021 edition.
All the assets have been brought together to that end: a dozen projects carried in some cases by beginner duos, and in others by experienced teams, which bear us away to the lands near and far of our collective or intimate lives, from utopia to struggle, from anthropological questions to contemporary political violence, with for each project a form to be specified, strategic intentions to be affirmed.
All participants will be able to count on the extraordinary accompaniment of our artistic crew, united and familiar with the exercise: producers Serge Gordey (Temps Noir), Céline Loiseau (TS Productions), Raphaël Pillosio (L’atelier documentaire) and Sophie Salbot (Athenaïse), who will lead the workshops of the first day and will be also present alongside the trainees all along these intense and fascinating days organised under the sign of exchange, shared reflection and conviviality.
They will be able to count on the benevolent but engaged reactions of our readers, who work for television broadcasters, platforms, institutions, or distribution companies and who will react in their own name and offer in this way working hypotheses, precious at this stage.
They will be able to count on the irreplacable duo from the École documentaire, Anouck Everaere and Lulu Scott, seconded this year by Violette Deffontaines, who will have done everything possible prior to and during these three days so that these encounters will take place under the best auspices and in the best of atmospheres.
