Zoltán Jeney was a composer close to Karlheinz Stockhausen and John Cage. Round is his only film, constructed on the basis of a dodecaphonic piece for three instruments. Each of the twelve notes of the music corresponds to a strip of variable width in which the background, the circular Baross square– which is never entirely visible – appears from different points of view following the dissonant rhythm of its perpetual agitation.
