Off-site screenings
Villages / Families / Partner cinemas
The États généraux du film documentaire are also, in parallel, screenings of a certain number of the programme’s films with the presence of their author(s) in surrounding villages and cinemas. The goal is to prolong the encounter between films and public beyond the time frame and rhythm of Lussas itself. On a village square, weather permitting, or in a hall, eight evenings have been programmed over the week, each one followed by a Q&A with the director.
This year, the event will take place in the villages of Saint-Laurent-sous-Coiron, Darbres, Eyriac, Villeneuve-de-Berg and in Saint-Andéol-de-Vals, in partnership with the non-profit organization Histoire(s) de voir – Ardèche. Also in partner cinemas in Aubenas (Cinéma Palace) and Le Teil (Cinéma Regain).
At the same time as these public projections, we are organising other screenings, but this time inside family homes. The principle is the same: every evening, a filmmaker presents her or his film to a family of Lussas who will have invited neighbours, friends and relatives for the occasion... The intimate character of these evenings is highly appreciated by all!
