MEETING WITH A DELEGATION OF MEMBERS OF LA BOUCLE DOCUMENTAIRE
La Boucle documentaire has been, up to now, an informal network grouping eighteen regional and national filmmakers’ associations on an equal footing. Today it is organising itself into a federation in order to be able to fully defend creative documentary which is, today, in an extremely fragile position.
We, writers-directors, affirm that creative documentary contributes to the march of the world. Far from standard formating, it is the space where the diversity of ways of seeing that exist in our societies can express themselves. The elaboration of films is a long creative process and offers every citizen the sharing of a singular and rare experience.
