2022 Tënk Tënk
At this end of August 2022, Tënk occupies once again a place at the heart of the Etats généraux du film documentaire. It is much too hot, obviously: the entire summer has reminded us through the levels reached by thermometers – and rivers – of the state of the world. So there are a thousand ways to “manage with” what is on the horizon: to flee or to fight, each human being sees themselves as the centre of their world.
For six years, Tënk has chosen to see the worlds, numerous, that are melting or, on the contrary, are being built, that invent and resist. Tënk is made up of these thousands of different points of view on our reality and resists, again and forever, against standardisation, against the flow and the flux, against the dangers of unilateral discourse. And we have the material: so many filmmakers, so many films yet to be discovered or made!
This year again, we are very happy to present you with a selection of the films prepurchased by Tënk, in the presence of their directors. Over seventy films have already been supported. You can thus discover three singular ways of confronting or building a world, through Une bosse dans le coeur by Noé Reutenauer and J’ai énormément dormi by Clara Alloing or again follow the highly personal quest unfurled in Natyvel Pontalier’s Sur le fil du Zénith.
These films were completed on our premises, in the building L’Imaginaire. Film crews were welcomed during all the stages of post-production. The Tënk studios, recently completed by a mixing studio, invite you to come and pay them a visit.
On Saturday, we summon your ears for the now traditional session of radio listening, complete with nap and breakfast in the Moulinage garden, to hear a new episode of the programme LSD – La série documentaire on France Culture. Subject announced: Boxing!
Our camp base will be in the school courtyard. Several events will be organised, drop by for a visit and to find out more!
Finally, like every year, you will find a special États généraux programme on tenk.fr: films from the current edition but also from past years will be on offer!
