An initiative of the Franciscans of Toulouse, the « Circles of silence », gather on the main square of 200 towns over France and Europe once a month to inform people about the harsh situation of illegal immigrants pursued and jailed in Internments centers for foreigners. Beyond the political issue, the Circles of silence also offer the opportunity of exploring one’s consciousness thanks to the deep experience of silence.
