Daunik Lazro, horizon vertical
Christine Baudillon
2010 - 124 min - HDV - Couleur - France

Daunik Lazro, self-taught musician of free improvisation, is a man engaged to a music that he sees as incandescent and absolutely free of all the conventions of cultural orthodoxy. Lazro grips his baritone sax as if it were a human body. His sound matter is a brusque, lively shock followed the next moment by near silence. His breath is a song. An intimate portrait of an uncommon musician.
