1928-2021 - France - Noir & Blanc - 20'

In 1928, Henri Diamant-Berger, a famous filmmaker, was exceptionally authorised to film Georges Clemenceau in his modest fishing house in Vendée. The resulting film, which its author believed to be forever gone, reappeared at the end of the 2000s. In 2014, Béatrice Thiriet and Jérôme Diamant-Berger decided to make a docu-fiction on the traces of the film by Henri Diamant-Berger. Leaving the film (in which she plays a character) to become a pianist and composer, Béatrice Thiriet will set to music the silent version of Clemenceau, one of the very first documentaries in the history of cinema.
