A chronicle of the relationship between Raúl and El Moro, two Havana dockers whose friendship has been affected by the social changes happening around them. But contrary to most of the documentaries of the time which overuse an external inquiry and a prosaically analogical description of events, Valdés experiments with a mix of staging and direct cinema to reveal the conflicts of his characters. They re-enact their own role, more motivated in this way by the idea of recreating their lives than becoming passive objects of observation carried out by others.
