Theodor Christensen
1948 - Danemark - Noir & Blanc - 26'
“Hello, hello, the railways here!” This other "Griersonian" film by Theodor Christensen recounting the life of railway workers around the station of Fredericia. This lyrical film recounts the enthusiasm of those who regulate traffic at this major rail junction. Trains, workers, rails... the whole set of movements creates a rhythmic film, like a poem on the theme of the railways in homage to the workers. Another classic of Danish documentary!
