At the beginning of the 20th century in the North of Italy, at Ughettera, home place of the Ughetto family, life in the region was becoming very difficult. The Ughettos dreamed of starting anew outside the country. According to legend, Luigi Ughetto then crossed the Alps and started a new life in France, changing forever the destiny of his much beloved family. In this film, his grandson recounts the story.
