For more than two thousand years, the village of Jajouka, in the Moroccan Rif, has perpetuated magical fertility rites close to Romanian lupercalias, and a unique music, played by a caste of musicians, the Master Musicians of Jajouka. The film stages the founding legend of the myth and the practice of these rites connected to a pagan-looking party presided by Bou-Jeloud, the Father of Skins, who embodies the god Pan.
