After a colourful prologue of beautiful flowers followed by jazz music, Kursar records one day in a carnation farm in Split, where pickers working for the minimal wage painstakingly make beautiful bunches of flowers, symbols of socialism. In highly-composed, aesthetically-perfect black-and-white images, we look at the workers’ hard everyday life.
