On the shores of the Mediterranean, Daedelus gives his final words of advice and wisdom to Icarus who is about to fly off. In so doing, he questions our contemporary world with its mix of destruction but also of beauty and humanity. Like a gigantic poetic promenade all around the sea, the film questions us with an astonishing urgency: our desire to measure the world with the aim of perfecting our mastery has it not fallen into an excess where it loses all meaning for the human being and we risk burning our wings? An invitation full of hope addressed to future generations to find the “right balance”.
