In Mayotte, the only remaining French island in the Comoros archipelago, a group of illegal young men loves and raises dogs. These relationships between man and animal highlight a society torn between Comorian identity and French state culture, the dog is then revealed as the witness of the chronicle of a thorny daily life, the metaphor of a wandering existence.
