The difficulties encountered by women to become integrated into the economy and reach equality with men in a country undergoing Revolution. Sara Gómez structures her film in three parts: a report on working women intercut with macho criticism by men; a discussion between four women (all students and professionals) including the filmmaker, filmed in cinéma vérité style with direct sound and little editing; and finally the feedback of a group of women working in a tobacco factory, having seen the documentary and who discuss the questions raised by the film and its subject.
