When his hairdressing salon is destroyed by the municipality, Romeo must leave the high street of Toamasina for poor neighbourhoods. He settles in a little makeshift shack, but dreams of being able to build a permanent salon one day. Meanwhile, this tiny space open to the street echoes the outside, the daily news, the population’s hopes and angers in a country of poverty and corruption.
