Luis Ospina
1988 - Colombie - Couleur - 26'
Ten years after Agarrando pueblo, the filmmaker meets again one of its main protagonists: a street artist, a fakir who is still performing the same show and who, in his proclamations on abandonment and resistance, seems to mirror any other Colombian artist. Watching with him his former film, Ospina reflects upon his life, his work and his landmark masterpiece, but also he tells us something important about the daily struggle of poor people to feed their children, to endure discrimination and to survive to civil war in Colombia.
