The three rivers that converge at the Croatian town of Sisak have long since recovered from the war. So has the serene landscape surrounding it. But the people have not. The men at the center of this film, so different from one another at first glance, all share a difficult past: battles, prisons, life on the economic fringes of society. Their stories converge, much like the rivers, to reveal a touching portrait of a town whose memories have frozen in time.
