The context is an amateur production of the show My Fair Lady by a workers’ theatrical company: the actors speak of their work and their public education programme. But a spectator – a young Roma – declares that his values are found elsewhere and he shakes up the atmosphere… The integration of the Roma community, nearly a million people in Hungary, has been a social problem for decades. This ironic film remains a powerful warning: the solution cannot be built on ideas imposed from above by the authorities. (F. R.)
