A violent death overwhelms the filmmaker in the spring of 2019. She starts a film session by calling on spirits from the past: a VHS discovery allows her to delve into the Berlin family huis-clos of her childhood. An attempt at purification that overcomes the limits of time, language and space to transform a deep wound into something sublime.
