The old Bosnian inns are small oases where old men slurp their mocha and smoke self-rolled tobacco – occasional sighs are heard, no one speaks. Hadžismajlović eloquently portrays the mentality of the Bosnian people, whose rhythm of life conflicts with the hectic pace of the city.
