Clarisses de Ronchamp, un risque pour la vie
Isabelle Brunnarius
2012 - 52 min - XDCAM - Couleur - France

This is an incredible story ...The Clare Sisters of Besançon left everything they had to live a human and spiritual adventure. They sold their monastery in Besançon to an international fraternity founded at the foot of the Ronchamp Chapel, a masterpiece of Le Corbusier. And Renzo Piano is another famous architect who drew this XXI century convent.
For five years we followed this unlikely meeting between a priori star architect and sisters who took a vow of poverty. These women are mostly very old and they will experience a new form of contemplative life. A "risk of life" taken for future generations of Poor Clares.
