Through a real investigation, at the heart of Europe’s memory, the film proposes to plunge into one of the greatest scandals of Western society : human zoos.
From the mid 19th century till the interwar period, millions of visitors came with their families to see the "savages" in cages in zoos, most of whom were African.
The film also aims to denounce the mechanisms of popular racism, the mechanisms that make others savages.
