“My first big demonstration was also my last.” In July 2001, during the G8 summit in Genoa, police violence was such that it caused one death and several serious injuries. Twenty years later, Adila Bennedjaï-Zou tries to reconstitute what happened, not for everybody, but for her and the small group she was part of. She tries to understand what Genoa changed, at the time but also afterwards. How did this experience contribute to making theirs a political generation.
