Off-site screenings

Villages / Families

The open-air screenings during the États généraux in the partner towns and villages around Lussas are now a tradition. A living tradition that is renewed every year, so that the Ardèche public can discover recent films, accompanied by their director. Organised with the help of the town and village councils, these screenings bring together residents and tourists who have come to discover Ardèche. A village square or a schoolyard, a few chairs, a screen, and documentary cinema is invited during five evenings, in Saint-Andéol-de-Vals (on Tuesday), in Villeneuve de Berg (on Wednesday), in Saint-Laurent- sous-Coiron (on Thursday) and in Jaujac (on Friday). As well as at Regain, the cinema in Le Teil. Admission is free and the screening starts at nightfall.
The documentary also invites itself into the living rooms and gardens of private individuals, as part of our home screenings. Always accompanied by the director, Laura Monnier brings the film to life in small groups, leading the discussion that is sure to emerge after the film. Three screenings are organised in the homes of local residents in Lussas and the surrounding area, during which the participating hosts act as programmers. An intimate cinema that brings authors and spectators closer together and encourages exchange.
