2023 Tënk Tënk
In 2023, Tënk continues to proudly and happily showcase the best in documentary cinema. Now more than ever, we need to make our way in the midst of a world of images – imposed, retouched, bombarded, fabricated from scratch. And more than ever, we need to blaze this trail with fine films, great films, films made and chosen by human beings, films that appeal to our curiosity and our intelligence, living films that make us a little more alive! Tënk invites you to follow the path of these films!
Tënk is also about films that are made: once again this year, we are delighted to present to you some of the films we have supported in post-production: Tënk has now supported over ninety! They have all been finalised on our premises, in the L'Imaginaïre building, where the film crews are welcomed for all stages of post-production. You’ll be able to discover Rêves, a four-part documentary series by Pascal Catheland and Arthur Perole. And a double screening talking about pebbles and rivers, with films by Deborah Stratman, Last Things, and Marie Lusson and Émilien de Bortoli, Méandres ou la rivière inventée.
On Saturday, we meet up for breakfast on the grass, in the shade of the trees in the Moulinage garden to once again offer you our traditional listening session, with the programme LSD, la série documentaire by France Culture. On the programme are two brand new episodes, featuring jazz, striptease films, love, the shadow of the Nazi extermination of the Jews, Trotskyism, hallucinogenic mushrooms and more.
Finally, as every year, you can find a special programme on tenk.fr: films from the 2022 edition taken from the Expérience du regard, Docmonde and LaScam selections, as well as an entire week devoted to the 2023 edition!
