What does it mean to be supported in producing a film? When should a project be sent to a production company? How does the writer/producer relationship develop? These are just some of the questions we’ll be exploring to help you see things clearly and break down barriers. La Pépinière provides a forum for emerging writers and producers.
In this documentary film production cooperative based in Lussas since 2019, we are eleven producers and one manager who collectively support some fifteen projects, from writing to distribution. We place great emphasis on writing and the writer-producer relationship, which is central to the making of our films. Like a workshop, we provide a forum for reflection and exchange on production practices.
