For the thirty-fifth year, the États généraux du film documentaire invites our territory of Ardèche to vibrate to the rhythm of documentary film. During an intense summer week, Lussas becomes the world capital of the genre and rises to the challenge of bringing together in front of a large screen, around a table or beneath the stars, those with a passion for documentary film, committed filmmakers, daring producers and a public eager for discoveries and encounters.
The Ardèche Département is proud to contribute to the existence and development of the exceptional adventure orchestrated by Ardèche images.
Christian Feroussier, departmental vice-president for Culture, Sports, Societies and Economic attractivity, and myself are equally happy with the dynamism that the structure L’Imaginaïre deploys through the sector’s associations and businesses housed there, that contribute to the life of the territory all year long.
We extend our warmest thanks to the team of employees and administrators of Ardèche images as well as the numerous and faithful volonteers whose dedication and passion for documentary film make this cinematic adventure possible.
This edition invites the public to travel and to sharpen our way of looking at the world. It will be rich in discoveries and generosity and will celebrate documentary film which contributes so much to the identity of our territory, Ardèche, a territory of festivals that beat to the rhythm of impassioned hearts.
