Martin, a virtuoso pianist and composer from Argentina, has been a patient at El Borda Psychiatric Hospital for four years. Absorbed by the creation of his next work, Enfermaria, he also tries to cope with his illness, and perhaps recreate a life for himself outside of the hospital.
