An ironic account on Danish pork production. Since the late nineteenth century, Danish farmers have been raising pigs on a scientific basis, breeding them to ensure standard size and uniform quality. This requires meticulous care and good fodder. Thanks to the fodder supplied under the Marshall Plan, production is up, and prize Danish bacon accounts for thirty per cent of the nation's agricultural exports.
