In Ouagadougou, Yves-Omar is a former schoolteacher turned an accomplished entrepreneur. Although he enjoys living with his family, his business pushes him to travel more and more to develop his company and create new partnerships, in Paris, Munich, Brussels or Lomé. In light of her own experience, the director offers us with Omar’s Odyssey another way of understanding the links between Europe and Africa. The experience of a man who – like Ulysses – returns home after long journeys. With, each time, the pleasure of getting back to his country, Burkina Faso.
