Mojtaba, Hamzeh, Zar and others have undergone ideological interrogations in Iran at different times in their lives. Filmmaker Mehran Tamadon asks them to interrogate him as an agent of the Islamic Republic might. He would then like the real torturer in Iran to see himself in the film as if looking in a mirror. The violent experience of really putting themselves in the head of the torturer confronts them with what they are prepared to do and the limits of the project itself...
