The movie follows the obstacle-laden migration of Chinese mitten crabs. Accidentally imported at the beginning of the 20th century, they are spawned in the North Sea and travel up the rivers of Flanders before returning to the sea to reproduce and die. Beyond the anecdote, a journey that is both metaphysical and concrete, a modern poetic parable between documentary and fiction, open to the contradictory diversity of reality.
