Using found footage he discovered in a house in Los Angeles, Luis Ospina made this short film, one minute long, as a project for a course in design and film editing he was attending at UCLA. It was not a matter of home movies, but of scenes from World War II, the Korean War and documentaries on the federal district of the United States, Washington. In possession of this rich historical material, Ospina creates an hilarious fiction in which the capital of the United States is flown over by a plane that drops a bomb on Capitol Hill, the legislative centre in North America, the core of the Empire. Homage to Bruce Conner and pamphlet against the Yankees. F.R.
