David Perlov
1979 - Israël - Noir & Blanc - 65'
Layers of memory are superimposed in David Perlov’s film, a unique historical and cinematographic document. In a series of interviews conducted by the filmmaker in his flat - seventeen years after the trial of Adolf Eichmann - survivors, their children and young Israelis express their views on the impact of the trial both on Israeli society’s position towards the Holocaust and its survivors, and on the way in which the event has influenced their personal and family lives.
