Fiction film about a housemaid who rebels against the oppression of her employers. Mayolo and Ospina reveal here one of the guilty pleasures of their cinephilia: horror film and tropical gothic culture. These references are the basis of an insolent tale of domestic exploitation: social oppression is shown as a kind of vampirism that the masters practice on the body of the exploited and the only way to liberation is a chaotic class subversion. The film was made in Mayolo’s family home, and Marina Restrepo, who plays Asunción, had actually worked as a domestic there and had been fired by Mayolo’s mother, who knew nothing about the film!
