Documentary that portrays the events of 1967, during the military takeover of Ciudad Universitaria after the strike against the transport price increase that began in 1966 (2,000 soldiers and 40 tanks), an event which marked a before and after in the relationship between students of the National University of Colombia and the military forces. Álvarez was inspired by the Cuban noticieros of his namesake Santiago: the result is a simple but powerful cine-punch, made with poor means but strong ideas. Álvarez adopts an aesthetic of collage and pamphlet in order to awaken consciences under the shock of military violence. F.R.
